How we work
From the hunt to the handoff.
The same four steps on every book, whether it came from an estate sale or a publisher pallet.
The hunt
We buy from estates, liquidations, library deaccessions, publisher overstock, and vetted wholesale suppliers. Nothing is bought sight unseen from a source we have not qualified.
Inspection and grading
Each copy is checked page to page for markings, water damage, and missing components, then graded against a consistent condition standard.
The listing
Edition, printing, ISBN, and condition notes are recorded for the actual copy in hand. We would rather lose a sale than overstate a book.
Packed and sent
Books are packed to survive the trip, shipped with tracking, and followed up on. Damage in transit is our problem to solve, not yours.
